C-19 Rapid Action Taskforce (C-19RAT) consortium member Biomedical Engineering Foundation Nepal (BEFON) team led by its President Er. Bikash Shrestha, PEng (Professional Biomedical Engineer) helped repair ventilators at Narayani Subregional Hospital (NSRH), Birgunj that were not in operation. The team’s Biomedical Engineer Er. Krishna Regmi went to the hospital and fixed the ventilators. He reported that the flow sensors on the ventilators were found faulty after regular tests and calibration. He changed the flow sensors on the ventilators and repaired the ventilator to perfect working conditions.
