On the 4th of July 2021, C-19 Rapid Action Taskforce - C-19 RAT initiated a 3-day Training of Trainers (ToT) to Volunteers of the Nepal Mask Campaign via Zoom platform.
The Nepal Mask Campaign is planned to launch soon to build awareness while distributing free masks in the areas hard-hit by COVID-19. The intervention comprises four critical components to NORMalize community mask-wearing:
N- No cost: free masks distributed door-to-door
O- Offering information on mask-wearing via video and brochures
R- Reinforcement in-person in public
M- Modelling and endorsement by trusted leaders
The first day of training of the Nepal Mask Campaign included:

This training was conducted between 1 PM to 5 PM and pleasant feedback was received from the random selection of participants. Though limited by virtual means, the training was activities were planned and executed in an interactive participatory approach.
The second day of training, conducted on 6th July 2021, 8 AM to 12 PM, GMT +5:45 included:

The second day of the training was packed with learning materials prepared by C-19 Consortium members. Training materials for the second day were focused on community interaction etiquette, project details, core intentions of visiting the community, and different approaches. The volunteers were equipped with a strategic approach for community inclusion and minimize the spread of the COVID-19 by advocating for the use of masks.
The third-day training was conducted on the 7th of July, 2021 between 1 PM to 5 PM GMT + 5:45. This part of the training included:

Before launching the Nepal Mask Campaign in the community, a training refresher is will also be conducted physically as far as possible, while maintaining the safety protocols.
